You want someone who loves you the way you’ve seen everyone around you be loved, because it suddenly seems like everyone’s capable of finding it but you.
Do not wait around. It is not worth it. You could have learned to paint, to write poetry, learned a new language. Drive. Travel. Save your money to travel. Read one hundred books a year. Volunteer. Depending on your interest. Not because you want to meet someone, but because these things give you meaning.
What if I don’t get a bumping into him scene in a cafe? What if I don’t even get a stealing someone else’s cab ride moment?

You don’t ‘have time to date’. I’m sorry but that’s not a valid excuse. If you have time to sit on your ass and watch Netflix by yourself at midnight, you have time to go for drinks with a stranger and you certainly have time to play the field.
You can read books and blogs and articles galore on this subject (as I have), but ultimately it just comes down to that special sauce between two people. It’s either there or it’s not.
