It seems unjust that people should think I’m a bitch based on something completely out of my control. Actions speak louder than words and they should speak louder than faces, too.

Sometimes I walk around purposefully squinting, raising my eyebrows, biting my lips or making other ridiculous and often tiring faces just to avoid the inevitable scowl that will return if I was to simply relax my muscles ever so slightly.

Who knows what it means that I feel so alienated and inside myself that the thought of humoring someone else’s presence makes me feel like a cat being forced into a bathtub? Who knows what that says about my relationship with the person I’m dating? Does it mean we’re not right for each other? Or does it mean I have issues?
