Waking up day after day motivated and positive sounds easy to someone who is happy and at a good state of mind, but it isn’t the easiest task in the world for those who wake up with negativity every single day.
Same goes for the lame pop-culture magazines – fuck them. I no longer invite people into my tribe who sabotage my growth, and believe me at this point in my life – I can smell their kind many miles away.
How do we step into our own wisdom and awareness when negativity is so ingrained in our psyche?
Let them put you down, then thank them later.
Commit your own random act of kindness. And when you are the lifter upper, the upper is even higher.
Your thoughts—especially repetitive thoughts—can rewire synapses in your brain to connect faster. What this means is that where before there was space between one negative thought and the next, now there is a decreased amount of space, or a bridge if you will.
Listen, you think you are at the bottom. Your bottom is better than 95% of the rest of the world.
Negative people are needy. They look towards others for value addition to their lives, rather than an equal give and take. They enter professional and personal relationships with the mindset of what they can get from the other person.
Whatever you focus on, your brain scans for. So if you’re thinking positively (or negatively), guess what your brain starts scanning for and seeing?
I don’t drink coffee, cigarettes are anathema, and I hate everyone else’s addictions with as much conviction as I love their counterparts.
