From time to time, we forget the prep work required in order to start something. We forget that it takes time and preparation, mentally and physically, before we even reach the starting point.
What these challenges have proven to me day in and day out is that each day I wake up is a gift and a chance.
Walking around barefoot allows you to be connected to the Earth and your roots.
The people who are meant to show up, will show up. You have to trust that.
So if you spend today, or the next few days, just trying to survive. it’s okay.
Real life is you. Your stories are what are real; your experience is the data we all desperately need.
It doesn’t take much to accomplish “decent” results.
No matter how much we attempt to make sense of things, the reality is our brains are hard-wired for a distinct environment — and it’s not the one we’re currently in.
When we lack motivation, it’s because we don’t feel understood in what we’re doing.
