Take these years to do whatever the hell makes you happy and fulfilled. Take chances, try new things, push your fear to the side and be extremely proud of who you are. Learn from the mistakes you make and work on bettering yourself. Or not. It’s totally up to you.
Remind yourself that there is a reason behind your decision of moving on, be it from a city or job you have had enough of, a relationship that did not work out the way you had hoped, or a rejection letter from a magazine that you deemed your story a perfect fit for.
Maybe it’s possible that, no matter what I choose, it will be right because I will make it right. But we can’t look for clues in the present as though they’ve been left here by the future; there is no invisible sign pointing us in the right direction.
