Women are strong by nature; you don’t need to prove yourself by pushing other people away. Limiting your human connection doesn’t make you strong, sweet girl, it only makes you lonely.

It doesn’t have to be expectations and fears, worries and judgments. It doesn’t have to be labels and misunderstandings, rigidity and rules. Love can simply be what it is—two people believing in a force stronger than themselves—and saying, ‘yes, I’m in.’

God loves you more than you could ever know. He wants the best for you. He wants you to find love, and He will bring you that man when the time is right. He won’t leave you. He won’t turn his back to you. He won’t cheat on you or break your heart or leave you for someone else. He will put you first, always.

We let ourselves be defined by the ways we’ve been treated wrongly and we put up walls in hopes to never be burned again. All understandable, at first. But eventually you have to chip away at that tough exterior.

Eventually you have to learn to let people back in.
