What is my identity? Or in other words, are we what we are, or are we what we do?
Don’t be too hard on yourself if you feel like you gave your all and nothing happened. It’s okay.
I tried to be normal and I failed. Believe me, I wish I could succeed at being normal.
My idea of a life well lived could (and probably will) be untrue in 100 years or 10 years. That’s scary.
Looking down on other people does not, and will never, elevate your person in the eyes of society.

Believe it or not, people actually get together and pay money just for the right to be to be bored as a group. Of course, they don’t call the class “Group Boredom” – nobody would sign up for that; instead, they call it “Meditation”, and people go bananas over it.
NYC had a huge environmental problem in the 1890s. The city was going to be buried by manure. No technology that existed could solve the problem. 20 years later cars solve the problem. Don’t try to solve every problem today.
Depression has a cunning way of showing you all the bad in the world, hiding all the good, and then portraying this biased view as the ‘true’ version.
