No man who loves you will make you feel as if you’re compromising yourself to be with him. Because that’s not love, that’s manipulation.

Embrace the truth. You suck at plenty of things. Nonetheless, the good thing is that you are allowed to do that. You are allowed to suck in some things. You cannot be a great expert in truly everything.
Life is too fragile to settle for a partner who is abusive, for a connection that is one-sided, for being with someone who sucks the energy and happiness from you on a daily basis. You are a person of value. You deserve care. You deserve respect.

Looking back, I know that everything that happened had happened for a reason. The boy I once loved walked away so that I could see clearly once again.
