Push the boundaries of your fear. When you do, all of a sudden you find yourself doing things you only once imagined or dreamed about or wished you could do.
It’s one giant cycle. “Digital nomads” come to places like Thailand. They post selfies of cocktails and beaches and their suntans on social media sites and their blogs. They sell useless shit to each other and glorify their lifestyle to keep a constant stream of wealthy suckers coming to Thailand to buy their crap.
Entrepreneurship is f*cking hard. There’s no other way to put it.
You don’t have to feel tied down by the idea of somebody else’s profession. You don’t need to feel scared that things won’t work out. You can literally just decide what you want to do…and do it.
No matter where you are right now, you MUST start the process of rethinking what it means to do your “life’s work”
Whether it’s writing an article, building a piece of software, designing a new logo, or all the other millions of ways you can create things nowadays, be okay with having an ugly duckling phase. Understand how beneficial it is, and shift your mindset from worrying about it to leveraging it in the creation of something even better.
Sometimes we’re just not ready, and that’s okay. Not being ready is okay.
