7.5 billion people, yet here we are, afraid of speaking out, lonelier than ever, worried we won’t be able to make a living doing what we love, and thinking we’re doomed. But f*ck that.
We stop believing in love and begin to love ourselves way too much. We build a wall between us and men, we don’t let them close emotionally. In fact, we stop respecting them.
Exposing yourself to your weaknesses and fears is the fastest path to growth. It forces you into a flow state. It forces you to quickly adapt or fail. And failing is the fastest path to learning.
Instead of focusing on whether or not social media voiced an enjoyment of the story or hated the characters, there needs to be more than that.
I think it’s hypocritical for Trump, who has not only never served his country, but did everything he could to get out of it, to tell anyone they can’t serve. Call me crazy, but if people voluntarily join the military, pass all the tests and basic training, and prove to be more than qualified, who is anyone to tell them they can’t serve?
Don’t pressure yourself to be perfect. Just do it for the joy it brings you.
