Truth is, only we know what is best for ourselves—which is largely why I suggest young adults practice abstinence at one point or another.
Let me tell you something; when you take sex off the table, your phone becomes REAL DRY.
I’m not really sure how to feel at this point, but I do know that I feel stupid, embarrassed, unworthy, insulted, angry, and heartbroken.
Millennials crave authenticity. They want their friends and love interests to express who they truly are in their sexuality. They want to be able to express themselves in every way. They want a REAL partner, even if it’s only for a brief period.
“Girls care so much more than guys. Guys do care, at least I did, but it wasn’t something I beat myself up for like they seemed to do.”
If you take a year off from sex you can give a person a chance to really know you, and you can get to know and connect with them more.
With love comes passion. Passion without love is empty. I view sex as something only worth given to someone I have fallen deeply in love with and it is my choice to share that piece of me with.
