So, you’re about to graduate college… Bravo! Congrats! Mazel Tov! You’re probably on cloud 9 right now, and you damn well should be. Seriously, way to go– that’s a huge accomplishment!
You just need to realize that life is all about perspective, patience and preparing for the absolute unexpected.
But why do we do this? Why do we always doubt?
I am trying to be responsible, so when someone asks me to get drunk on a work night, I am going to turn them down.
Waiting for a magical moment or destiny or for things to just serendipitously fall into place is a lazy way of saying, “I don’t feel like making this work or happen myself.”
So what if we fail? So what if we didn’t achieve the results we want? At least we’ll have learned something in the process.
So, I’m 23 and I still haven’t had sex.
A mature person shifts their locus of control inside. They take responsibility for their actions and the resulting consequences. They don’t blame other people and own their shortcomings.
Embrace your fears, look forward to failure.
