Girl, You Don’t Need A Man To Feel Validated

Els Fattah

Yes, I’m hitting you guys with another dating article.

Why?

I just have a lot of advice from personal experiences as well as things my friends have been through.

I remember jumping into a relationship with a boy, I barely knew, just because I was obsessed with the idea of having a boyfriend. Yeah, he was alright, but we weren’t in love with each other and at that point is it even worth it just for a title?

I have had so many friends and coworkers feel as though if they’re not in a relationship, then they’re not happy.

Why is that?

Why do so many gorgeous girls with amazing personalities feel as though they need a man in their life, even if he treats her badly?

Don’t get me wrong, I like cuddles and kisses as much as the next girl, but I also don’t think it’s worth it to jump into things or force a relationship just to say you’re in one.

It’s just a title and really doesn’t mean anything if you don’t love yourself first and are just using the relationship as a way to feel better.

If he treats you badly, drop him.

I know it’s easier said than done, but you have to have some self-respect at some point. If he leaves you on open all the time, then maybe he just isn’t interested and it’s time to let that go.

Listen, ladies, I understand and I feel your pain. I too have felt as though I need a man to feel good but you don’t.

Don’t force a relationship if it isn’t right because not only will it just end badly but then you’re closing yourself off to other opportunities for someone who isn’t worth it.

Do me a favor and spend some time loving yourself and you’ll realize that you deserve the world.TC mark
