I Am Here To Stay, Please Say You Will Too

I whispered these words with my heart once again as I looked deep into his eyes. I thought to myself, would he be the one who would stay with me? Would he be the one who would embrace all that I am for who I am without a wavering heart? Will he stay?

Will I finally find a genuine kind of happiness that truly belongs to me?

Would I be able to feel full again without constantly feeling empty as though something’s just not right and I just can’t figure out why.

Setting aside my doubts, I whispered to myself with these thoughts that I secretly hope that you are feeling the same way:

I am here to stay with you and be your trustworthy pillar of support. I may not be perfect and I may not be able to provide the kind of love you might be expecting but I am here to stay with you through thick and thin.

I am here to stay if you open up and show me the real you without barriers. I am here to stay even if you have walls built up high just because you are afraid to let anyone in.

I am here to stay through your ups and downs.

I am here to stay if you are ready to have a companion and confidante.

I am here to stay and keep your secrets safe with me and I will share my secrets with you too.

I am here to stay because I want to love you with no regrets.

I am here to share my world and I hope that I will get into your world too.
