13 Reasons Why tries to target a plot line that I’d been waiting to see for a really long while, but unfortunately, so far, it has failed at what it was supposed to do
It’s isn’t exciting. It isn’t as poetic, or romantic as it seems to be on television and books. It doesn’t just ‘go away’ when love or some miracle worker comes along. It stays. It lingers.
I never made promises I couldn’t keep. But you were careless. You didn’t really mind leaving a casualty behind as you recklessly lied and whispered sweet nothings.
Being aware of the vast spectrum of human emotions doesn’t make me weak, it doesn’t make me inferior.
Don’t tell me any of those things. Please, don’t.
