Sometimes Things Happen In God’s Time, Not Your Time

They say life starts at 40. But for me, life starts when you knew how hard life can knock you down and at the same time, how it can make you feel soaring above the clouds. It starts on the day you know how to enjoy, glide, sync, and dance in every diversity life could bring you.

God has given us everything to enjoy life. As the scripture says in Psalms 16:11, “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” And in Ecclesiastes 11:9 “You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.” (But of course, enjoying life at its finest are still bounded by your will and nothing beyond the side of right) For life, the entirety of it, is His gift.

But let me tell you this, there are so dark days that you tend to shake off what the Lord said. There are days that you are just having a hard time to grasp and accept what He has promised.

Anger, pain, disappointments, doubts, grief, failures rob us from happiness and enjoying the life laid in front of us. It’s natural. And it is okay. They always say, “There’s always a first time.” And no one can judge you for the way you felt. But it should not stop there.

Prolly a friend betrayed you, or you felt they are just there when they need you and the times you need them, little did you know, they can’t make time for you. Or maybe your heart was broken by someone you just dearly adore. Could be your ever loving pet died. Or you were just annoyed because things aren’t falling in your accord. ~~ These. These are just few things that will rob your life, and your happiness too.

But if you will look into it, these things were allowed to happen for us to experience life. For us to appreciate the nothingness and abundance. To love, to patiently wait, to give, and the likes. It is for your gain. It is for your betterment.

If you lost something or someone, you failed, disappointed, just always remember that these things happened on time, and for a reason. There’s nothing more perfect than His time. It was allowed to happen because there is a new that will replace the old. Life does not stop there. Because God promised that He will always be there for us in whatever season. He wants us to be happy and to enjoy life. Tomorrow is not guaranteed that is why enjoy what you have today. Be thankful. Give love. Do good. Cry the pain. Move on. Smile.
