By

i. If there is a problem, speak up. Don’t get your feelings be suppressed because it won’t get you anywhere. Instead of having it solved, you will only make the situation worse.

ii. When they tell you its impossible, turn around, smile and prove them they’re wrong.

iii. Do not measure your achievements using somebody’s ruler.

iv. You will experience pain no matter what path you choose. There will be times that you will be down, but remember that even though you fall, you will soon rise again. Do not disregard yourself.

v. You can’t complain about burnt hands when your hands are on the stove.

vi. Sometimes the only person you can trust is yourself. But don’t be afraid to open your wings to other people. Choose the person you’ll trust wisely. Show them your wings because you are a butterfly that’s been wanted to be free from judgments and fear.

vii. Happiness will only come to those who appreciate what they already have. Treasure what you have today because you may not know, someday, it will not be there anymore.

viii. Don’t worry about people laughing at you because you’re different; instead laugh at them because they’re the same as everyone else. It’s better to be unique than to be normal. Remember this: Normal is boring.

ix. The only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday.

x. Believe in yourself, even when everyone else doesn’t.

xi. When you came to a point wherein you have to pick someone, choose the one who pulls you up. Not someone who drags you down.

xii. Self-love has always been an important thing.

xiii. It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. Do what’s good for you. Follow your own dreams. Be loud. Take up space. Shine in ways only you can. Focus on yourself. It’s okay to put yourself first every now and then. Take good care of yourself. Those who care will understand and stay no matter what.

xiv. Get out of your shell. The guard you put up for protection actually hurts you more than you know. There’s nothing to be afraid of. You are not as awkward as you think. Rejection is not death but a missed opportunity might as well be. It is much better to try and hear “no” than to not know at all.

xv. It’s okay to be unsure of yourself, or where you’re going in life. If you don’t have a firm grasp over your plans for the future, it doesn’t make you any less competent compared to those who do. Just know that you’ll gain nothing by constantly worrying about it all. No matter what life throws at you, know that it will be okay. Always.

xvi. You don’t live for the expectations and judgments of other people, you live for yourself. Not for anybody but for yourself.

xvii. You are strong, and you don’t need validation from other people to know just that.

xviii. You’re still learning. You’re still growing. It’s okay to make mistakes. As long as you get right up and dust yourself off. You can do this. Everything will even out.

xix. Pursue character not comfort.
