Why The Hell Is It Okay For James Franco To Be A Sexual Predator?

James Franco’s texts to a 17-year-old Scottish girl, outlining his sexual advances, were published online and have taken the social media world by storm.

In an interview on ‘Friday’s Live with Kelly and Michael,’ in which there was no mention of Ms. Clode’s age, Franco complained:
“[…] not only do I have to go through the embarrassing rituals of meeting someone, sometimes if I do that, then it gets published for the world. So now it’s doubly embarrassing.”

Poor, poor James Franco. He can’t be a sexual predator without having his creepy advances published online!

My question is, why the hell isn’t James Franco embarrassed about trying to have sex with a minor? And why the hell does the entire world seem totally fine with it?

I am calling James Franco out. James Franco, 35, was aware of 17-year-old Lucy Clode’s age, and still proceeded to ask her if he should “rent a room.” This is not okay.

The entire world is pretending like it was an honest mistake. It could have happened to anyone, right? Wrong.

James Franco doesn’t deserve a free pass because he is California’s quirky golden boy. Shame on you, Mr. Franco. Do better.
