It’s all about balance.
Growing up with sisters can be a blast, and it can also be a nightmare. For instance, the consistent availability of clothing choices is nothing to complain about.
We often claim that we are waiting until the “perfect time” to do or say something, even though we know deep down that now is as good a time as any.
When we were children, our parents were essentially our heroes. However, as we approached the teen years, our desire to be “cool” took over. Along with that perception, we began to disregard our parents’ forewarnings.
As one of my favorite 90’s tracks of all time, this song always projects an instant sense of nostalgia for me. Although I was only 7 years old when it was released, my friends and I frequently played this song during our Saturday tradition of Beer Olympics in college.
