Someone’s going to be majorly grounded over the holidays! A person who’s probably no longer Miley Cyrus’ friend has leaked a video to TMZ of the 18 year-old Disney starlet taking a bong hit of the drug salvia-a perfectly legal substance that happens to contain psychedelic properties. In the video, Cyrus takes a hit from the bong and starts to laugh maniacally after she mistakes a partygoer for her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. There’s nothing out of the ordinary in this clip, just a teenager getting high and saying really embarrassing stuff. In fact, the most shocking part of the video is the fact that they’re listening to Bush at a house party. Really, guys? Bush? Rude. The rudest.
Watching this video makes me sort of empathize with Cyrus. Like her, I tried salvia at eighteen and I would’ve been super pissed if one of my friends broadcasted it to the world. She must be getting screwed over all the time by people she thought were her buddies. Teenagers just need to be granted a giant “Get Out of Jail Free” card from the ages of 14 to 18 because during that time, you are not yourself. You are possessed by someone who’s insane, hormonal and listens to Bush while taking salvia with their friends.
