Scream 4

Making a fourth Scream is the rudest idea in the history of rudeness. Watching actresses like Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts act alongside 90s’ icons, David Arquette, Courtney Cox and Neve Campbell, seems unnatural and only seems to further reinstate that the concept of Scream doesn’t fit in with horror movies today. In the last decade, people’s tastes have changed and it’s obvious that Wes Craven is aware of that. In the trailer, Rory Culkin’s character acknowledges that there has been a game change but commenting on it isn’t going to be enough. Bringing this franchise into the now looks to be an impossible feat and watching them try is going to be more painful than being stabbed by Ghostface. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
