Ikki.be Create “The Crying Invoice” for Freelancers

Freelancing (emphasis on “free”) is a kind of Hell that only a writer could endure. Not only are freelancers typically underpaid but they sometimes wait six months to a year to see any payment. I feel their pain. I once received a ten dollar paycheck eight months late. I also interned for a magazine for three months under the promise of a travel stipend but never got it. So for three months, I essentially paid them money to work. The idea for a “Crying Invoice” is genius. You invoice your boss and when they open the envelope, they can hear the depression that is your life. It’s the little things, isn’t it? TC mark
