The Truth About Bouncing Back When Life Doesn’t Go According To Plan

By

You have it all figured out. Where you are going, what you are doing, who you’re going to be with, and where you live. It makes sense to you in your mind. It feels right. You have made calculated decisions to align the things you want in life. You strategize, you organize, you are in complete control. This is your plan and you are sticking to it.

And then everything changes.

Your plan is gone. You are standing there motionless. You can’t see your future any more.

All you have is now.

As hard as we try, sometimes life doesn’t go to plan. I have always felt the need to control my destiny. To have everything all figured out. It wasn’t until I let go of that need for control that I finally started to feel present. For the first time in my life, I felt free.

Free of the confines of my “plans.” Free from the notions that I had to be one type of person, be with one person, live in one place. I was free to be me. I stopped trusting the plan, started to trust the universe, and more importantly, I started to trust myself.

Of course I still have goals, ideas of where I want my life to be. The difference is, I’m open to it changing. I know that it may not go to plan, and if it doesn’t..I will be okay.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Nobody does. Life loses its magic when we do! There is beauty in the unknown. Not knowing your destiny means that ANYTHING is possible.

You are limitless.

Your plan may change, and in time, it will make sense why. Everything is connected, and everything happens for a reason. Let go of your fear of the unknown.

Trust that this is exactly where you are meant to be.
