While social media is only a tool, and not an inherently evil one, problems were always going to arise when the average American is middle-aged and older, and has only recently picked up the tool of social media that they were now being asked to wield.

The most sinister aspect of Entertainment is that it is completely democratic, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Democracy sounds good in theory, but it’s not if the average American is an idiot. To be fair, the average American has always been an idiot, hence why they are considered average, but these idiots used to know they were idiots and acted accordingly.

Trump is stranger than fiction, less predictable than a season of Game of Thrones, and we’ve become addicted to the drama.
