14 Of The Best Clapbacks To Anti-Trans Target Shoppers On Facebook

Recently, Target released a statement that reaffirmed why it’s a socially-conscious badass: in response to the anti-trans legislation in several states, Target said that its stores “welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

And, naturally, the Internet exploded with vitriol.

Target’s Facebook page was flooded with rabble-rousing threats to “NEVER SHOP AT TARGET AGAIN” and hashtags about boycotts. And, wonderfully, Target’s pro-equality community bit back with a vengeance.

Here are some of the best clapbacks that told anti-trans Target shoppers to take a seat.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ex-Target shoppers. There are tons of other tiny things to be irrationally upset about — like the fact that the Apple Watch is apparently terrible, or that there’s only one dog cafe in the United States. Or literally anything else.

In any case, we’ll always have snappy comebacks on Facebook to back us up. TC mark
