it loves too fast, too much,
it doesn’t know how to stop
and he doesn’t know how to give.

Your love is too much for him
because he only knows how to break hearts,
he only knows how to make himself happy,
he only knows how to be selfish.

You don’t know how to love from a distance,
he’s a master of keeping you at arm’s length.
You don’t know how to play games,
he has the all-time highest score.

Your mind is filled with beautiful thoughts
that his limited mind can’t grasp.
His mind only knows how to trick people,
his mind only knows how to scheme.

You see the best in him,
while he sees all your faults.
You try to see the beauty in his flaws
and he’s looking for someone flawless.

You are too much for him
but in all the right ways.
You are too much for him
and darling, he’s not enough for you.
