The World Is A Beautiful Place But It Can Also Be Pretty Lonely

By

The world is a beautiful place, but it’s hard to see the beauty when you’re alone with your pain, when you feel like no one really understands what you’re going through no matter how many times you try to explain it and when your pain is clouding your vision to see what the world really has to offer, because you only see your world and sometimes your world is pretty scary. It’s pretty gloomy.

The world is a beautiful place but sometimes you can’t get out of bed. Sometimes you can’t even open the window, you can’t even see the light. Sometimes you wonder if the world even wants you to come out because every time you do, it knocks you down. Sometimes the world can be too confusing for you to understand and sometimes it pushes you away. It makes you want to run away from it because it’s too hard on you and it doesn’t know what it’s putting you through.

The world is a beautiful place but sometimes it feels like you’re the only one in it. You’re the only one struggling to make it, you’re the only one who’s heartbroken, you’re the only one who’s in love with someone who doesn’t love you back and you’re the only one who’s lost while people are out there finding themselves. Sometimes you’re surrounded by hundreds of people and you feel all alone. Unheard, misunderstood and invisible.

The world is a beautiful place but sometimes it looks ugly. When it turns its back on you, when it takes away the things that made you happy, when it takes away the people you love, when it hurts you when you’re being kind and when it always goes against your wishes.

Sometimes it feels like it’s you against the world.

I don’t know why the world can sometimes be too hard but maybe the world doesn’t change and it’s all about what we see or how we see it. Maybe the world will always be beautiful and it’s a matter of loving it the way it is, of accepting it the way it is, of knowing that it will always be one step ahead and it will always be better than you.

And maybe the world believes in inner beauty and wants you to dig deeper and find meaning in it, find the purpose behind the obstacles, find your strength from all the things that you lost and find beauty underneath all that dust.

Maybe it wants you to see its beauty when it’s dark and gloomy, when it’s raining and you’re terrified, when you’re about to give up on it but then you remember that it still has a place for you, it still hasn’t kicked you out completely, it’s still allowing you to walk and do your thing. It’s still there for you, even if it’s not exactly the way you want it.

The world is a beautiful place and so are you. And even though you can’t always fight the lonely days or the hard days, you can always find beauty in the world and in yourself, because the world appreciates beauty and occasionally, it gives you something so you could believe again, it gives you a dream, it brings you a lover or cures an illness.

The world is huge, and sometimes you don’t have to stay stuck in one part of it, you should keep going and roaming until you find its beauty, until you find where you belong, until you feel like you’re truly part of it and that you’re not a stranger anymore.
