They both come from two different worlds, they both interpret things differently and they definitely feel things differently.
It’s always been a battle between the mind and the heart; who’s smarter, who’s stronger, who’s wiser and who’s more qualified to shape your life. At the end of the day, some people are wired to follow their minds leaving little room for their hearts to guide them and some people find themselves following their hearts without giving much attention to their thoughts.
While logical people will tell you that love is blind, emotional people will tell you that love is the only vision — the only truth.
Emotional people tend to be more fragile and they sometimes listen too much to the opinions of others but they have to really understand who they’re listening to and who they’re seeking advice from.
Because while logical people can give you all the valid arguments in the world, they still don’t make you feel any better, they don’t give you a solution to your problem or a remedy for your pain.
Sometimes it’s easier to accept who you are with your vulnerability and your softness instead of trying to be someone you’re not or someone you’ll never be. Maybe it’s easier to embrace your not-so-logical self instead of trying to change your essence and your core.
Because the mind is tricky, it sees danger in situations where it has no control, but if you think about it, this goes against the nature of life. Because you can control your mind all you want, but you can’t control your life or the lives of those around you.
And you can try to stop yourself from feeling anything at all, but really, where’s the logic in that?
There is no logic in stopping yourself from being human, from experiencing things, from living and from learning who you are when you truly let go and when you do things from your soul.
The mind is attached to the ego, to reality, to what’s given. But the heart flows freely into the realm of dreams, endless possibilities and maybe magic.
At the end of the day, you can’t base your decisions on the advice of those who are not going to get affected by the consequences.
You can’t invite a realist into your heart and you can’t take your dreams to a logical mind.
