To The Girl Who’s Scared To Love Again

scared to love, nervous girl

I know it seems rough right now. Life’s been testing you and you can’t help but wonder if falling in love is really in your path, in your destiny. You’ve fallen in love and gotten your heart broken by more boys than you’d ever like to openly admit. Trust me. I get it. I am you. The girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. The one who falls in love far too often and far too deep.

Here’s the thing – every failed relationship just means you’re one step closer to finding something real. Or maybe that’s just some cheesy line us single girls spew out, I can’t ever know for sure. Maybe I’m just naive.

But, a part of me still believes in it all.

They say love is like riding a bike. It’s one of those things you never forget. You can fall off your bike, find yourself with a skinned knee or two, and yet you’ll always get back on. Maybe that’s how love works, too. You can find yourself in a cycle of failed relationships, you can get your heart broken and shattered into a million pieces. And yet, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. Every broken piece can be mended and rebuilt.

I know it seems rough right now. But there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. There’s always hope for a better day. A better relationship. A better love. TC mark
