To The One Who Didn’t Love Her

You were just one of the men who treated her like a princess. Owned the universe and promised to give her the stars and moon as she leaned her head to your shoulders at night. You waited for almost three hours just so a shooting star would pass. She wished to have you until the end but you wished that she would accept your decision to break up with her.

She was ready all the time, all the days, weeks, months and even years to give it all to you. Her time for you is equal to the stars in the sky, relentlessly abundant without any restraint. She loves you more than time.

Her heart filled with joy as she speaks with you, as she shared to you what happened on a subject she really hate. Day night she could laugh and share each and every thought that goes through her mind. She loves you and she wants your time.

She never regretted the day she knew you. How magical that day was, what time you lend your hand and asked her out. Nonetheless, she wanted that moment to come back. She wanted to renew the relationship with you over again while she loves you more than these memories.

There is something in the way she looked at you. More than your face, your mustache and your brown eyes, she saw the future in your eyes. She wanted to get close to your eyes, too near to your lips if it’s the only way you could remember the years you have built together. She loves you more than your the way you look.

All she wanted as you said your goodbyes were your embrace, tight enough to heal the most broken parts of her together with all the hardest words that cut her ego. Something in your arms and in your chest paved the way to forgive you and to love you even more. She loves you more than your flaws.

You made her heartbeat most of the time intense yet at peace when you said those three words ‘I love you’. It gave her so much assurance that more than her body, you want her. She doesn’t want to be part of 47% Filipino teen age single. She believes in you and in your relationship. Yet, she loves you more than the title.

Something within her moved her and she fell in love with you deeply and foolishly. She wanted you to be happy and to be satisfied every time you met. She held your hand. She doesn’t want to let it go; even if it hurts to her a lot, even loving you is the most foolish thing she ever had. Still, she loves you and all that is within her.

She was drowning in sorrow every night. With a bottle in front, she would scream, shout, and ask herself what else you want. She can’t do better without you. Everything felt less because she gave everything; all the she was and all that she had to you. Yet in her heart, she loves you and she doesn’t want to forgive you.

In the middle of her sleep, she would cry. She wanted to call you and seek your face what to do because you just left with no words at all. Going back to where you both used to be, you were no longer the same man she loved. Still, she loves you and she wanted you back.

She would like to feel the magic again, forget all the pain and feel the world more glorious once more. She knew how impossible it was to forget everything about you. To choose life after what happened was meaningless and pointless because after all, you are her life and world. She loves you more than life.

Drawn to frustrations, she can’t help but accept the fact. The fact that you came to ruin everything about her, about her dreams, her world, her life as she begin facing a new life with the fruit of her womb.  She was no longer happy and free. She was tame, helpless and down. The pain inside of her might heal but the damage has been done and after several months, she will be mommy without you because you left her alone. Still, she loves you more than the pain.

Growing on her own, happiness will eventually be hers again because you were not part of that happiness anymore. She will be the one responsible to love herself and accept that even how she have loved you, you were not the man ready to love her back. She loves you even though you didn’t love her.
