I Am Absolutely A Squad Goals Kind Of Girl

By

And that doesn’t make me any more shallow than the anti-squad goals girls.

I’m the girl that loves to put on makeup, and yet, I don’t mind going out without it. I love dressing up and going out with my friends after working hard for five days a week. I’m the girl who loves taking cute pictures with my friends so I can look back on them when I’m older or when circumstances force me to see less of them.

I’m the girl that calls her best friends before a party or an important to ask what to wear, because sometimes I’m too lazy to decide, and because I trust my friends.

I’m the girl that can do things herself, but I don’t mind a little company if I can have one. I can do things my own way and I take other people’s suggestions if they can be of use to me.

Yup. I’m a squad goals kind of gal.

I love wearing dresses and heels as much as I love wearing a hoodie and flip-flops.

I love going to the mall as much as I love going to the farmer’s market. I love to shop for clothes as much as I love to shop for books. I’m the girl that knows how to accept compliments and yet not let them be used as a means to be a people pleaser.

I love looking good and having a ~*trigger word ahead*~ good time with my friends. And that doesn’t mean that I think I’m better than you if you were less attractive than I am or didn’t dress as well as I do. The only thing I will judge people on, is their character.

So if you ever think you’re better than me on nonsensical crap like hanging out with my friends on weekends or … not having a -thigh-gap’, I’ll just shrug and say, ‘Is that all you got?’. Because I can list a lot of things that prove I’m better than you and your anti-squad goals attitude.
