Have Faith In Yourself, You Will Survive This.

The hardest times of our lives come out of the blue. They come at times when we are least prepared for them. They come at times when no one could predict. And the struggle is real. So real that it takes over your life and the darkness feels like it’s going to engulf you.

If you are suffering right now and struggling to find the light at the end of the tunnel, I promise you, you have saved yourself every time before and you WILL survive this. You will get through it, and you will find a way to stand again, if life has knocked you to the ground. In the moment when you are alone, just remember you were born into this world and you will leave it alone, but alone does not mean you are defenseless. Alone does not mean you have no power. And alone certainly does not mean you are not going to survive.

Have faith in those hands of yours which have found a way to hang on, despite everything life has thrown at you. Have faith in that mind of yours that still gives you cause to be happy. Have faith in your eyes that have once found the world beautiful and will find the world beautiful again.

Take time to process the darkness and the pain you are going through. Take time to allow yourself to grieve. But do not allow your grieving to cause you to believe you will not survive this, because remember how you have managed to survive.

Allow no one to convince you that your wounds are so deep that nothing can heal them. Human beings are remarkably resilient. And we can survive absolutely anything. Remember this when you doubt your heart, your pain, your journey.

The universe made you so resilient that no matter what happens, you WILL handle it. You will find the light at the end of the tunnel. Just have faith in yourself. TC mark

Your Soul Is A River

“Love a soft person. The ones who are positive, even in the worst of circumstances. Someone whose strength is not in bravado, but in their quiet. Someone who is strong for others because that is what is needed in that moment. Someone who is the moon that soothes instead of the sun that burns. Someone who sees the very best in people even when you think they aren’t worth it. The kind of person who always wants to do the best for those they love.”

“I bought this on a whim to read as I was resting for the night, and I do not regret it one bit! Everything about the poetry in this book is amazing, heart breaking, and soul searching. It will lift your spirits on your darkest days. I want to thank the author so much for writing this, as it’s something I will be rereading a lot! Always remember, everything about you is important. You matter.” —McKayla

How do you come back from your lowest point? How do you drag yourself out of that black hole of nothingness that has consumed your life? For me, being diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa wasn’t easy. I now believe that if I can manage this skin condition, I can do anything.
