How has Tilda Swinton never played a vampire in a movie before? That mistake will be corrected with Only Lovers Left Alive, Tilda’s newest collaboration with Jim Jarmusch. Co-starring Tom Hiddleston (aka Tumblr’s husband), the film is all glorious excess, following a vampire couple as they spend eternity together. The first hour is supposed to be one of the best sequences in cinema history, until the movie gets around to having a plot. I guess even vampires need narrative arcs.
