Blue is the Warmest Color has yet to open in Chicago, but the Palme d’Or winner is earning rave reviews from just about everyone who has seen it. (A friend of mine who saw it at the Chicago Film Festival described the film as a “glass cage of emotion.”) Directed by Abdellatif Kechiche, Blue is the Warmest Color is a French lesbian coming of age drama described as affecting as is strikingly sensual.
