When I started college, my mother always told me the best way to cure a hangover was to drink lots of water and coffee, take your vitamins, avoid sunlight and let the carbs soak up your pain. (They’re like the Shiva of foods.) However, when I need to start the day off right and bounce back from a long night, a long weekend or sheer laziness, I let Meryl Streep be my spirit guide.
