“A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities.”
Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind.
Every night, when I lay in my bed, I spend close to maybe an hour letting my mind unfold the brilliances buried deep in my mind. I collect everything I’ve seen, heard, and felt the whole day, and combine it to create the most impossible situations, or come up with ideas that sound next to impossible. I dream of things that I wish happened during the day, even though I know that those dreams may not come true. But isn’t that the ultimate goal? Isn’t that what we’re taught and told to do – to dream big?
We all want to achieve great things, but we often never really take the time to think about actually achieving them. Carve out the time to really think, and dream. Close the door, put your phone away, don’t use your computer, put your socializing on hold, and just take some time to think – big. Your dreams can come true if you believe in them and if you have faith in yourself. It’s true.
So many people have the most beautiful dreams, aspirations, and ambitions. But they fail to reach them, all because they don’t believe that can. And so they never try. Always remember to give it a shot. So what if it doesn’t work out? No dream is unachievable. Not one. Sure, you fail once, bummer. If your dream really is your dream, and not just a thought, get back up and try again. Push yourself to the farthest limit. I guarantee you’ll get there.
Create a vision for yourself. Short-term or long-term, it doesn’t matter. The more clear your vision, the closer you get to it, and the faster it moves towards you.
Lastly, dreaming big is the right thing to do for the world. Think about it: big dreams are the reasons why the world changes for the better. It’s the reason why there have been so many great inventions and cured for diseases among other great stuff.
Leave your mark on the world. Know that you can achieve anything you set out to. No dream is unattainable. Dare to dream. Strive to really live your life doing what you really want to do.
