So what if everything ended?
Sometimes it has to. Sometimes you have to accept that life has different plans for you than you had for yourself. Everything changes—from work to lovers to friendships. It makes you wonder what you did wrong and what you could change if you had the chance. You worry, you get depressed, and you consider giving up on everything.
But does it really matter that everything changed?
It simply gives you a chance to start over. And starting over can be the best thing that has ever happened to you. You get to decide on every small detail of your life and start a new journey, one that oftentimes turns out to be better than your previous one. You are free to take a new path, follow new dreams, create new friendships, and enter new relationships. The door is open for you, and everything is a possibility again.
There’s nothing stopping you other than your own self.
Remember that, in life, it doesn’t matter what happens to you but how you choose to react to it. So choose to turn lemons into lemonade and make the best out of your new beginning. Treat it as a chance to improve and rediscover yourself. Open yourself up to new possibilities and fight for what your heart desires.
Pick up a new hobby. Try new food. Change your look. Meet new people. Be grateful that you have the chance of starting again. Not many do. Just because something ended doesn’t mean that you can’t turn the situation into the best experience of your life.
I know that the hardest part of ending is starting again. But if you never even try, you won’t know all the things that you’re capable of. You won’t rediscover yourself and you won’t turn into the person you were always meant to be.
So what if everything ended, you ask?
Nothing. An ending simply means that you get to try again. And the beauty of life is that every day is a new beginning. So create your new life and leave the previous one behind. Give yourself time to grieve—it’s important. But don’t let it consume you.
Because if something ended, it was meant to.
Carry on. I know you can.
