1. You have a lot of love to give.
Even when someone hurts your feelings, instead of being angry at them you try your best to help. You put your emotions aside and try to understand why they did what they did and your natural instincts are to make sure they are the ones that get out happier.
2. You aren’t sad because of them—you’re sad for you.
As much as you know it hurts losing someone. You feel most sad that you let yourself get in that situation in the first place. You think about how much time you wasted allowing this person to break your heart rather than the person itself.
3. You grieve in silence.
Whether that’s losing a friend, partner or loved one. You find yourself shutting away from the world, and you’d much rather ignore the raw emotions that are building up inside as you want to appear strong but in the end the emotions and tears flood out anyway, so you realize you’re only delaying the heartache.
4. You give more than second chances.
Even when someone has taken advantage of you, you find yourself still offering advice, always willing to help as you don’t like to hold grudges. Even in the worst of people, you still try to find the good in them.
5. You are overly sensitive.
As much as you shut yourself away from the big problems that you face. You find yourself blubbering over the small things. You tend to cry over a sad Disney movie, or you get choked up when you see a cute puppy or cat.
6. You wish you could save the world.
Now that sentence alone is a pretty impossible task, but you don’t care because inside of you, you want nothing more than to make an impact. You have this urge to help as many people as you can. You don’t see the world as many others do, you still see the light and the good in most things.
7. You love surprising people.
One of your favorite things to do is to surprise someone you love. You find yourself making small gestures like leaving a silly note for them to find or stocking the fridge with their favorite snack. You love to see the look on someones face when they smile from something that you did.
8. You’re a dreamer.
You often find yourself drifting off into a fantasy world when you’re riding the train with your headphones in or when you’re cleaning up around the house busting out some dance moves. It brings you joy to sing along or to dream about something you wish you had.
