Aries (March 21st – April 19th)

The single Aries is the friend who is truly courageous in love. You always make the first move, even if that means getting shut down. In your mind, you’d rather give someone your all, or not even bother. You don’t waste times with “ifs.” When you like someone, you let them know. You truly don’t get the games associated with modern romance (and you don’t care to learn the rules).

Of course, sometimes this all-or-nothing mentality gets you into trouble when it comes to matters of the heart. Though you think you’re just being enthusiastic, you can sometimes come on a tad too strong. As such, you get let down quite a bit. Your friends hate seeing you get hurt, but they also don’t try and convince you to change your approach. After all, they understand that you just need someone that matches your unbridled passion. Taurus (April 20th – May 20th)

As a single Taurus, you’ve never been particularly rushed to get into a relationship. One of your strongest traits is that you’re incredibly patient and independent, and this applies to your love life as well. You just figure it’ll happen when it happens. Nothing to worry about!

Your friends always find your practical approach to dating refreshing. They often try and emulate your faith in yourself, and in finding #theone. However, if they’re ready to go out on the ~prowl~ for a night out, you tend to feel left out and slightly annoyed. Since you’re not really looking, you don’t find it fun to hit on someone at the bar. You’d rather just have fun with your best friends.

Gemini (May 21st – June 20th)

You’re the single friend that doesn’t know what the the f they want. You date openly and willingly, but often have trouble figuring out what it is you want in a partner and always end things almost as soon as they start. This is because Geminis are notoriously indecisive. You’re quick witted and flirty, so you never have a problem getting a date. For you, the problem is just staying interested!

Cancer (June 21st – July 22nd)

Cancers are very private. As such, you really don’t like revealing personal details about yourself, especially when it comes to your love life. When your friends are discussing dates and romantic interests, you tend to keep quiet about your own experiences. You offer advice because you truly love helping out ones that you care about. However, you always tend to skip your turn when it comes to it. You’d rather not talk about someone until you know it’s gonna work!

Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd)

Leos are fiercely independent. You know what you want, and won’t settle for anyone who doesn’t fit your idea of what you need in a partner. Your friends are always trying to set you up with who they think you’d work well with, but often times you’d rather just find someone on your own. You’re quite stubborn in that way, which can sometimes be frustrating to your friends. But there’s nothing wrong with high and specific standards, Leo! You’ll know the one when you meet them.

Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd)

If you’re a Virgo, you are kind, loyal, and quite shy. As such, you don’t really get modern dating. All the games and ghosting and one night stands are not your idea of fun. If you’re going to date, you’d rather focus on one person at a time. And the thought of just walking on up to someone at a bar and striking up a conversation for the chance to go home with them sounds like your goddamn nightmare. No thanks!

Because of your aversion to hookup culture, you can sometimes be overly critical of your friends who participate. They often feel judged by you, and sometimes will not even tell you about a romantic interest. It’s okay to not take part in hookup culture, Virgo, but it’s also not a bad thing to do so. Try and be more open minded, Virgo. Your friends are gonna be just fine.

Libra (September 23rd – October 22nd)

Libras adore harmony. As such, you are cooperative and fair minded, and always willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Doesn’t text you back for seven years? No problem! They were probably busy! Cancels at the last minute? You’re sure they must have really needed to!

While it’s great that you’re always able to see things from all angles, Libra, it can also lead you being treated in ways that you don’t deserve. And since you also hate, hate, hate confrontation, you tend not to advocate for yourself and your feelings either. With your talents for making excuses for other people, you tend to put up with a lottttt of crap, which drives your friends absolutely nuts, especially when you’re dating. After all, they just want to see you happy and to be treated with the kindness and respect. Scorpio (October 23rd – November 21st)

A Scorpio knows what they want in a partner, and are absolutely determined to find someone who meets those requirements. You put up with no one’s bullshit, especially romantic interests. Lying or not telling the whole truth is unacceptable to you. The second someone slips up, you’re done. You are passionate and fierce in finding someone who respects and loves you. Your friends (particularly your Libra ones!) admire your advocation for yourself and your values. They know they don’t have to worry about who you date; you’d kick them to the curb if they mistreated you.

Sagittarius (November 22nd – December 21st)

You’re the single friend who never, ever takes a romantic risk. You always assume the worst, which keeps you from finding anyone because you always assume it’s not going to work out. While your friends encourage you to be more vulnerable romantically, you tend to keep your heart guarded. Sometimes, you even refuse dates you really want to go on because you’re so afraid of getting hurt. For the record, Capricorn, pain isn’t a bad thing. Aquarius: (January 20th – February 18th)

Ah, Aquarius. You truly hate emotional expression, don’t you? You are the opposite of a hopeless romantic. You’re not cynical, per se, but you aren’t exactly one for grand gestures of love. Or letting people know you like them. Like, ever. Your friends often can tell when you like someone because of the way you either A) push them away B) ignore them. They try and encourage you to acknowledge your emotions, but you always brush your friends off and claim you don’t have feelings for the person in question. It can be frustrating for your friends because they want to be there for you, but you do make it difficult. Try and let your friends help, Aquarius. That’s what they’re there for.

Pisces (February 19th – March 20th)

You are truly the hopeless romantic of the Zodiac, Pisces. You truly enjoy the whole damn process of romance: the meeting of a potential partner, the ~getting to know~ phase, the first date…you actually seem to get a high off the rush you get in your heart and mind after meeting someone new. To you, everyone has a shot at being “the one.”

This, of course, can become absolutely exhausting to your friends. They have issues keeping up with your love life because you fall for people so easily and quickly (and often). They try their best to listen, but sometimes they are impatient. You’re the single friend whose feelings don’t get taken seriously because you just have so. many. feels.
