Four walls surround me.
Many windows engulf me.
Light and sound reflect through me.
That darn cat shakes the roof above me.
Life spent long lived in this dwelling consumes me.
Happy days make laughter reverberate around me.
Sad days make tears that drown me.
I tire at the long days you are with me, yet…
I am thankful for the eves of comfort and safety you provide me.
Each early morning I awake I know you are with me.
