Infatuation is cruel;
She stalks the edges of my mind,
Hiding in the corners of my subconscious.
She waits for a moment of weakness.
Then she strikes.
This Infatuation, this parasite
She sinks her teeth into me, her prey,
Then she takes over my mind, and
I am not me, not anymore,
But her: Infatuation.
What’s left of me is solely a shell.
My mind is all-consumed by her:
Lovely, beautiful Infatuation.
Horrible, cruel, relentless Infatuation.
Horrible, lovely, cruel, beautiful, relentless Infatuation.
