6 Reminders For The Girl Who He Does Not Deserve

By

First, look back at what you’ve left behind. Be sure you aren’t throwing away a diamond because you wanted to pick up a stone. The world is tricky in a way that it makes you think that presence puts more value to a relationship. No. It’s quality time that does. Quality over quantity. Remember, you wear the diamond on a special day. Stones are just scattered around the sidewalk wherever you go.

Second, you are naïve. Be naïve because you have every right to be. You are young, and you have your whole life ahead of you. You don’t need someone who’s gonna make you want to speed through your life. Be with someone who’s naïve and can be naïve with you. In that way, you can both grow together.

Third, don’t settle. When we fall in love, we are blinded because we tend to look through every flaw and every mistake of that person. I am at peace because I knew I deserved more. It looks like you deserve a lot more too, maybe even a lot more than what I deserve. So, don’t settle for anything less. Don’t downgrade to someone who was less than what you had before. As you become better, you deserve even better.

Fourth, to love truly, the person you love must be true to you. There are people who tend to hide things about themselves and about who they really are. Love someone who’s open, who has nothing to hide, who can show you every chunk of himself. Love someone who’s not afraid to show you his flaws. Love someone who will trust that you will accept him, no matter what.

Fifth, get out of it while you still can. You’re a smart girl. I pray and hope that the day comes when you wake up and realize that it’s not too late to leave and go back to who you belong to. To go back to who you deserve, and to who deserves you. Or to find someone a whole lot better. You are smarter than this. Once again, don’t settle.

Last, I wish you the best, whatever happens. Whether you choose to go through that storm or whether you choose to walk away, I hope you’ll be happy. If you choose to go through that storm, I am hopeful that you will get through it because I have survived it too. If you choose to walk away, I commend you for being strong because that was something I was never able to do. Yes, you will get your heart broken and you will lose someone. But, that wouldn’t compare to what you would have lost if you didn’t walk away.

Our life is made up of decisions and choices. The kind of choices we make tells a lot about who we are, what we want, and who we want to become. Love shouldn’t be a blind choice. We should walk into love with both our eyes open. We should make smart choices and not just let what we think is a fairytale happen. We control the fairytale. It’s our story, after all.
