8 Things Alpha Females Simply Don’t Allow

1. People to tell them how or what to feel.

Alpha women have strong heads on their shoulders. They won’t be told how to behave, what to say, who to love, or how to feel. They will be patient and respectful; they will honor the words of others around them. But they won’t stand for being stepped on.

Alpha women won’t allow someone to disregard their feelings, to tell them to stop thinking a certain way, to tell them to quiet themselves, or to have certain emotions pushed on them that they aren’t quite ready to feel.

2. Disrespect in any form.

Alpha women are very confident. They don’t need anyone to tell them who they are, or to try to create their self-definition. They won’t, under any circumstances, stand for disrespect or mistreatment—even (and especially) when it comes to the people they love.

3. Other people to make the moves all the time.

Alpha women have no problem leading the pack. They aren’t afraid to express their thoughts and ideas, to step into the driver’s seat, to take control. When it comes to dating, they are comfortable making the first move—not always holding back or waiting for their significant other or partner.

They are secure within themselves enough to be forward, speak their mind, and make decisions.

4. Negative self-talk, even in the wake of failure.

Alpha women are not perfect. They know they will make mistakes, fail, and fall. Yet they don’t let those mistakes or discouragement get them down. They won’t let others mock them, but most importantly, they will speak to themselves with kindness and positivity so that they can rise to their feet and begin again.

5. A relationship to be their central focus or purpose.

Alpha women love to love just as much as anyone else, yet when it comes to relationships, being with someone is not their central focus. Sure, you’ll see an alpha female standing alongside an equally strong man. But you won’t see her defined by that connection.

6. Life to happen to them, rather than actively experiencing.

Alpha women make things happen. Whether that’s in their personal lives, workplace, etc. you won’t see these women being passive characters in their own stories. Instead, you’ll see them speaking, protesting, creating, thinking, acting, moving, and squeezing every little bit from their lives.

7. Anyone to tell them they are unworthy.

Alpha women can be intimidating at times. Sometimes they are a bit too much, too strong, to bold. Yet, they know that their personality is both powerful and beautiful. Though they might not appear to be the easiest people to love, they know their worth. And they know that the right person will have no problem building a beautiful relationship with them.

8. Their strength to overrule their kindness.

Alpha women don’t always follow rules, don’t always toe the line, but they know how to respect others. They know how to back down. They know how to loosen their stubborn hold on things, and accept life and change for what it is.

Though they are strong, their strength does not overrule their kindness. They are still good-hearted, passionate, loving women. And will love the hell out of anyone they meet.
