1. When your winged eyeliner is on point.
It cannot be denied that when we look our best, we feel our best. Although our eyeliner wings may never look as flawless as Adele’s, it is one of the best feelings in the world when they are on point.
2. Getting into bed when the sheets are fresh.
Warm, fresh sheets straight out of the dryer are highly underrated.
3. Starting a new book.
Starting a new book is such an amazing feeling. It means that first off, I have free time to read. But it also means that this specific arrangement of words composed by another person is about to speak truth into my life and cause me to think, laugh and cry. The possibilities are endless.
4. Finishing a book.
After I get over my post-book depression, the satisfaction sets in and it truly is one of the most accomplished feelings.
5. Wearing a matching bra and underwear set.
It’s feeling like you have your shit together that truly counts, right?
6. Waking up and seeing that you still have three more hours to sleep before your alarm goes off.
Nobody hates waking up early more than I do, and nobody appreciates waking up in the middle of the night and getting to go back to sleep more than I do either.
7. When your pet chooses to cuddle with YOU.
When your pet seeks you out to cuddle, it is literally the Best. Feeling. Ever. Pet cuddles for days.
8. Walking down Main Street of Disneyland.
When I am having an especially stressful day, picturing myself walking down Main St. literally perks me up in a matter of seconds. Mickey shaped balloons, churros, the castle. Instant game changers.
9. The first bite of pizza.
10. “Just Because” flowers.
When somebody in your life goes out of their way to get you flowers for no particular reason, other than the fact that it’s Tuesday. One of the best feelings ever! (Take notes, fellas.)
11. Washing your face after a long day.
Saying goodbye to your makeup after the day is over is necessary. Never underestimate the power of exfoliation.
12. Learning something new.
There is truly nothing like those moments where you can feel your brain expanding and working to process new information. Feeding your brain is such a feel good activity.
13. The first sip of coffee in the morning.
Am I right?
14. Complimenting somebody.
Every time I am in a bad mood I try to stop my negative thinking cycle by looking to the people around me and complimenting them. This helps to create positive thoughts, and will make you (and that person) feel better overall. It’s a win-win.
15. Crossing an item off your To Do list.
This is by far one of the best feelings in the world. Laundry? Done. Paper due tomorrow? Done. Crossing items off your To Do list is not only the best way to stay organized; it is also a stress reliever to see that pen cross right through that task you just completed.
