Thank You For Catching Me As I Fall Deeper In Love With You

As I look back at our time together, I thank god and all my lucky stars we both know what we have is special.

I have to thank you for never trying to change me. You understood that I was a dark soul who was jaded from her past but had the ability to love deeply. When I showed you my scars, you kissed each and every one of them, making me feel human again.

After all this time, my heart goes to you. I want to talk to you all day and all night. I want you to know I love you, that I will fight for you and for us for as long as you’ll let me.

I wish I could put into words how I feel for you. I wish there were something more powerful than “I love you.” You have shown me things I could’ve never dreamed of, and I am so grateful.

It’s funny because it almost sounds like I’m talking straight out of a movie. I naturally call you my best friend and my human diary. You know all my dreams, my fears, and my anxieties, and the most incredible thing is that I feel like I know yours too. It’s hard to find a connection like ours, and I want it for the rest of my life.

I know that our relationship is complex, and it’s not easy at all, but I love every minute of being with you. I love how passionate you are. I love driving to work and listening to you talk. I love everything about you, and that makes it worthwhile to be with you.

You are the most beautiful soul I have ever known. I see bits and pieces of you in me every day and sprinkled all over my life now. I am so proud to know you, and I wish I could scream from the rooftops how wonderful you are and how much I adore you. You still set my heart on fire. I am continuing to fall for you every day.
