Get a three-year jail sentence for firing a warning shot. Be called a thug, be told you can only speak in ebonics, hear white people say they are glad your kind is off the streets. See your murder justified because of your criminal background.

Be a white cop in America who shoots a black person and get off scot-free. Keep your job. Hear that you were simply “doing your job,” that you were “protecting and serving.” Enjoy a sense of power having a badge means you can act above the law. Go home with a $500,000 profit.
