45 Women Share Their Horrifying “Psycho Ex” Stories

36. Every six months or so I get calls from a new phone number from him despite blocking him each time. This has been going on for the last six years.

“Since I broke up with an ex boyfriend, he has exclusively dated women under the age of 20 with dark hair like mine who share my first name.

Every six months or so I get calls from a new phone number from him despite blocking him each time. This has been going on for the last six years. He alternates between extreme vengeance, begging me to take him back, apologizing for cheating, and vehemently denying that he cheated in the first place.

Bullets dodged.”

37. He forced me to change my number so only he could have it.

“To put it briefly, I filed a restraining order against my first boyfriend. I was sixteen years old when I met my ex-boyfriend, and he was twenty-four years old. To be honest, I told him that I was eighteen years old when we started seeing each other, but he eventually found out that I was underage. Did this stop us from seeing each other? No, we even took things to the next step. After losing my virginity to him, I discovered that he was batshit crazy. He became possessive; he forced me to change my number so only he could have it, FaceTimed me randomly so I can prove that I’m not cheating on him, and threatened me if I ever thought about leaving him. Naturally, I ignored all of this and focused on the nice part of our relationship. A year later, my dad found out that I’m seeing an older guy and calls the police, which is when I found out about his photo/video collection of the times we would “get together”. Sadly, this relationship went on for another year after that. After I got fed up with sneaking around and feeling miserable in his presence, I ignored him for a week thinking he would go away. He eventually found me, followed me into the city, and shit really took a turn. I was sitting at a red light, listening to music and enjoying my day, when suddenly I hear a knock on my window. He had got off his car and walked up to mine just to curse me out. Mind you, it was a very busy road. I was completely embarrassed and frightened at the same time, so I ran a red light out of fear. He followed me for thirty minutes, honking at me, and yelling at me to pull over. I eventually called the cops and ended up filing a restraining order. Haven’t seen him since our court date.”
