All I Want Is For You To Be Mine

All I want is to be able to stop thinking of you every opportunity I get.

All I want is to stop seeing your face every time I close my eyes.

All I want is to stop crying every time I think about how I can never be with you.

All I want is to stop reminiscing about our short time together.

All I want is to stop feeling your arms around me even when I close my eyes.

All I want is to stop remembering the kissing games we played when the light turned red at the junction.

All I want is to stop remembering that time when you carried me in your strong arms and spun me around then laid me gently on your couch.

All I want is to stop remembering that look in your eyes when you called me “beautiful.”

All I want is to stop looking at the parking lot where your car used to be.

All I want is to stop remembering how good your lips felt on mine.

All I want is to stop remembering your face with your dark hair and blue-green eyes.

All I want is to stop remembering the goosebumps I had when your big strong hands intertwined with mine.

All I want is to stop remembering how safe I felt just being around you

All I want is to stop telling myself that you would have been perfect for me.

All I want is to stop remembering your kisses on my neck.

All I want is to stop remembering those nights we spent talking till dawn.

All I want is to stop this pain in my chest whenever I cry over you at night.

All I want is to stop wanting you because I have to face the reality that you already belong to another woman.

Most of all, I want to know why God crossed our paths when HE knows that I can never be with you. TC mark
