1. Her Instagram biography: “I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous,” shows her capacity to love.
She has publicly admitted that her estranged husband (whom she is currently in the process of divorcing) Lamar Odom, is the love of her life and that if she had a choice, she would still be married to him. Her failed marriage is undoubtedly one of the hardest things anyone could even imagine having to deal with. She has handled the ordeal with class, being honest with herself, her family, and her fans. She is not afraid to admit that her heartbreak is extremely difficult, but she is able to let the experience help her grow into a better person.
2. She supports her heritage.
Khloé’s father is of Armenian descent, and although Khloé has certainly adopted American cultural traditions, she has not lost sight of the Armenian ones that helped raise her. In the past, she has fretted over the implications of Lamar accepting an offer he received to play professional basketball on a Turkish team. Two weeks before the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, she and Kimberly visited the country, met with political representatives, and saw the well-known Mother Armenia statue. On the day of the anniversary, she posted on social media, helping spread awareness on the anniversary of the tragedy. On Orthodox Christmas (although she does not celebrate it), Khloé posted a photo to her Instagram account that said “Merry Armenian Christmas” along with an explanation of the holiday’s origins as the caption.
3. She is a profoundly deep thinker.
Some of the photos she posts on her Instagram account show how inspirational her thought process is. Some particular touching sentiments include:
“That’s the problem with being the strong one. No one offers you a hand.”
“’What was it like to lose him?’ asked Sorrow. There was a long pause before I responded: it was like hearing every goodbye ever said to me-said all at once.”
“He kissed her cheek and then she knew that you could become homesick for people too.”
4. She is family-oriented.
Khloé is always gushing over the accomplishments of every member of her large family. She cites her grandmother, M.J. as one of the biggest sources of support in her life. Whether is was her outgoing support of Caitlyn’s decision to come out into the public, publicly expressing how much she loves and is proud of her baby brother, Robert, as he experiences a low point in his life, or celebrating Christmas in 2015 with nieces Penelope and North and nephews Mason and Reign, Khloé is always there for support whether in high times or low times.
5. During a low time in her life, she reinvented herself.
Instead of turning to dangerous agents like alcohol or drugs, Khloé turned to fitness to cope with the pain she was experiencing as her marriage deteriorated. Khloé posted on social media a photo of her incredible weight loss journey and modeled on the cover of Complex magazine. She was able to inspire and motivate others to improve themselves by serving as an example of a healthy lifestyle.
6. She’s outgoing.
X-Factor, E! News, her own radio talk show, and Kocktails with Khloé are just of the few endeavors that Khloé has embarked on. She has posed for dozens of magazine covers and is not afraid to put herself out there and stand up for what she believes in. In addition to this, she is an advocate of causes she believes in, including People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Soles4Souls, and the Race to end MS.
7. She is honest.
Khloé does not hide from the cameras. She knows that there are always going to be haters and she faces her haters headfirst. She is honest about what’s bothering her, the way she feels about how people treat her family, and people’s actions. She can always be expected to “tell it like it is” and is respected for it.
8. Her hair always looks killer.
Whether is is long, straight, black, brown, caramel, blonde, short, or curly, Khloé is always rocking whatever hairstyle she has got going on. Just take one look on Pinterest, and you’ll find out why so many people (myself included) cite Khloé as their “hairspiration.”
9. She can make fun of herself.
Whether it is her family’s reality television show, her past sexual history, or her brief stint in jail, Khloé is able to look back and laugh at the mistakes she’s made instead of allowing them to define who she is. She uses her mistakes to build a better person, something that many people are unable to do.
10. Her rear end.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to have a butt like that?
11. She gives phenomenal advice.
Some of my personal favorites include:
“You can’t expect everyone to love you. I’m not someone who just wants to throw out hate, just because.”
“You are entirely up to you. Make your body. Make your life. Make yourself.”
“People will hate you, rate you, shake you, and break you, but how strong you stand is what makes you.”
