Hatred is a flesh-eating bacteria on your heart. It destroys you from the inside out, eroding your humanity like acid.
Because the reality is this: If any community is entirely contingent on your relationship with one other person, it can be temporary.
We want to quit a job, go back to school, move to a different city, leave a relationship or abandon a path we once thought was absolutely perfect for us. But we are scared that changing directions means failure or embarrassment. So much so that we let that keep us from happiness.
A lot of things in life will be mediocre. But love should not be one of them.

Real love never disappears, it just changes for the better. Sometimes it takes falling out of romantic love with someone else to truly be able to fall in love with your life.
